The BBC don't hate us. They probably just forget sometimes that there are teams other than Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd, and Liverpool.

Song's was one of the best midfield performances I've seen from a player from any team for quite some time.

I think any team with Song and Toure in their line-up would walk the League title.

They were pretty balanced tonight. So fair play. Helped that Gullit is a bit more objective than some of the other pundits.
The team of the week thing was bollocks though, although I won;t be losing any sleep after it. I think they might just have written Toure by accident actually meaning Song.

I don't subscribe to this "BBC hate us" theory BUT how the fuck does Toure get in that team and not Song?

BBC's team of the day is as irrelevant as A8's view on politics.

2 Man City players made the team of the day, yet West Ham only won because Man City were under par. Strange.

Which of Song or Toure do you imagine was in the "team of the day"?

Quote from the Mail: "Just as Song toiled and sweated for the midfield control he enjoyed, so Toure seemed reluctant to join the battle."
Quote from the Express: "The compelling contrast was in the displays of powerhouse midfielders Alex Song and Yaya Toure, two former men of Barcelona. Song was on song throughout. Toure warbled in fits and starts."
Whoever comes up with MOTD's team of the day is a biased, lazy, incompetent fool.

No west ham players in the team of the day. Is that a joke?
What is it about west ham as a club that the media dislike so much? The bt sport commentary was embarrassingly biased. Motd was its usual ejaculatory self about the big four. Don't get it. Surely credit where it's due. The papers have been a fair bit kinder this morning though reading Alan's post.

I was too angry at the way Rudd Gullit mentioned man city
We won the game, it was out of order to even mention city. The BBC hate us!

Loved the shot of Brand after the first goal, Frank beaming about us taking the lead stood next to him.

I'm finding it difficult to concentrate on the fortunes of our rivals at the TOP... I keep thinking Palace's result is important
